Why I love these studio sessions
Studio sessions provide such a unique opportunity to tune out all distraction. While there is a unique beauty to capturing photos in your home, outdoors, and other special places - studio sessions create an environment where one thing comes into focus. The relationship between mama and the littles is front & center the whole time. You don’t need to worry about entertaining your kids or trying to make the shot happen - I'll handle that! The smiles, quirks, and giggles show up in an incredible way. I love how these sessions capture timeless photos of exactly what your season looks like in the moment. In Laura’s session, we were able to capture the playful love between brother and sister as well as each babe in mama’s arms!
Simplicity is key
My home studio can be set up with a variety of different colored backgrounds, that allow you to choose your personal style for the session. The studio set up is intentionally designed to be clean and minimal, like a blank canvas. With less, I’m able to capture your kiddos personality, details of what they look like, and all the little reasons you love this season with them.
Make it beautiful
Studio sessions give you control over the overall feel of your shoot. Choosing a monochromatic color palette really allows the sweet faces and expressions to shine through (think neutrals or variations of cream/white). Going with a bold and colorful background or outfit choices can bring a real vibrant punch to the session. Go with what you feel, it will be beautiful!
