Knoxville Studio Family Photos

A Studio to Call my Own

It has been my absolute joy to finally have my own studio here in Knoxville, Tennessee. I love capturing families, expecting mamas, & sweet littles there! After setting up a studio in my own living room for years to renting studio spaces around town, it’s been so much fun to have a space to call my own. The studio is called HighLight Studio & is available for local photographers to rent to use by the hour as well! Seeing other photographers rent the space & let their creativity bloom there has been a whole β€˜nother gift that I have been so thankful for!

White Seamless & Good Light

It’s hard to beat this combo. After years of primarily shooting outdoors or in people’s homes, the past several years I have grown to LOVE the simplicity of a white backdrop, good light, & special people to photograph in a studio setting. While other locations lend themselves to a natural lifestyle feel that captures people in their element, the studio setting strips everything away and lets the focus remain completely on the essence of the people in the portraits. I love shooting in both settings! But this blog today highlights the minimalism & sweetness of family photos that take place in the studio.

What do you think?

Could you see yourself booking a studio photography session? I’ve had some clients come in eager about the experience and some enter more hesitantly, worried that the photos might feel uncomfortable outside of their usual element. But everyone leaves happily surprised at just how organic & sweet these sessions unfold! Needless to say, I am obsessed with studio photography and if you’re ready to book your session, you know where to reach me. 😊
