Milestone Portraits for Baby’s First Year
One of the sweetest ways to document your ever-changing babe during their first year is by documenting the year with milestone sessions at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, & finally, one year! It’s so sweet to watch as they grow - their sweet face morphing little by little, picking up new little habits, & blossoming from a newborn into a precious one-year-old. I love the studio setting for these sessions because it keeps the focus solely on your baby & all their sweet little details.
This darling studio session was the second for this family. After doing milestone portraits for their firstborn daughter, they decided to do them again for little sister! We did a mixture of portraits with baby girl all by herself, but of course we had to include big sis & mama, too!
It’s easy to focus solely on your baby, but mama, I will always encourage you to be in at least a few photos with your little one. I promise, you’ll be glad you did! And so will they! You’re behind the camera all the time, let me capture you in the frame while you’re here! You want to remember them when they’re little, they want to remember how you were always there by their side. 💛
