Seven Islands State Park Sunset Engagement Photos

The Great Outdoors

Matthew and Emily love nature and being outdoors, so Seven Islands State Birding Park in Knoxville, TN was the perfect location to capture their sweet relationship. Our scruffy city has so many incredible outdoor photo session locations. This one was FULL of the best evening golden light, warm fall colors, and stunning foliage.

So in love

The way these two posed so naturally was so stinking sweet. Their love for each other was so evident, gentle, and kind. I love the outfits and color palette they chose - helping them stand out against the background, yet in a subtle and beautifully understated way. The engagement season is full of anticipation and eager expectation, and I loved capturing those moments with these two love birds.

Bling-bling

Show it off! Other than your wedding photos, you probably won’t have professional photos that capture your engagement ring in the same way you can during engagement shoots. These shots feature Emily’s natural beauty and romantic look for the session, while highlighting her diamond (look at that beauty!).

Soak it up

Although the engagement and wedding planning season can seem like it lasts forever, it really is so quick. These in between days of not yet married, but almost wed - are some of the best days to look back on. Savor the moments and the season right now! Basking in the sun, slowing the moments, and drinking in all the goodness.

Ooh laa laa

Matthew and Emily are middle school sweethearts (yes- even more adorable than high school sweethearts)! Matthew says Emily’s “smokin’ hot” looks are what first attracted him to her. Speaking of - does Emily not look stunning? I love the images of Matthew looking at Emily and just taking her allll in.

Are you newly engaged and ready to book your photo session?

I’d love to capture you & your honey.
