This in-home, fall newborn session couldn’t have been any sweeter! It’s so special to be welcomed into the intimate spaces of home as a family grows. I loved seeing big brother proudly take on his new role of protector & how mom & dad made the best team. I know that life with a newborn can be exhausting, but the joy is unmatched!
Home is Where the Heart is
I love photo sessions at home because our homes are one of the most intimate, authentic places we can have photos taken. It’s where the real, raw, & messy every day life happens - and it’s beautiful! (And that is also one of the reasons I love helping people learn how to use their digital cameras with my online course Digital Photography 101 - so that they can capture the beautiful every day moments in their own home that are happening right before their eyes!)
Newborn sessions are so darn special and I love seeing new parents absolutely glow with love over their little ones. This season of life can be hard, but it’s also the sweetest time, too. Capturing the precious moments in those first couple weeks is so important because babies just don’t keep.
